the art of the bath

recently and for under $100, i created a spa like zone around my bathtub. i don't take baths much (i do shower though!) so when i do, i like it to be an event! just a few essential items can really make quite a relaxing and luxurious little ritual.

here are a some helpful tips from my tub to yours.

1. a good cleaning of the area

2. clean, bright, white towels rolled and placed in an attractive container

3. a super cushy bath mat

4. lots and lots of candles

5. a bath cady to hold a books, magazines and any other goodies you wish to place in it

6. replacing your commercial containers that hold your body and hair products with something a little more fancy and uniform

7. quality soap and bath products that make you feel delicious!

now sink into bubble land let your troubles float away!
