meet the photographer

hello, thank you so much for having an interest in

my blog and my business. I would like to talk a bit about my philosophy as a photographer. I truly believe in more than just taking pictures. I am fully aware that, in general, most people do not enjoy having their picture taken, let alone by someone they don't know. I do not like having my picture takin either and it annoys they heck out of me when someone keeps saying smile. i know i'm supposed to smile! we learn that when we are children for heavens sake! what I want to create for my customers is an experience. an experience where they are actually having a good time, they are happy and smiling as a result of that. especially with children. it is better to be having a fun day out in the park then " getting your picture taken" right? I say, do your thing and I will make it my job to capture you. I like to meet one on one with clients before doing a shoot. it is important to know one another and for them to feel comfortable around me. if they aren't, believe me it will show in the photos. one day I was editing, as I looked at the faces in the photos i realized they were looking at well..... me, well.. my camera which is in front of me. comfort, confidence and relaxation are key. being a part of peoples life events and special times is a privilege to me. I take memory keeping very seriously, because when its over its over. but we will always have our memories... and when they are a little fuzzy, a picture sure helps!
