anytime... is the right time... for pie time!

on this post of "spoon with me" I am going to share my quick recipe for a fruit pie.

the holiday brought heavy desserts and cakes so a fruit pie is just right.

in large bowl mix: 1 cup of raw oats, 1 cup of brown sugar lightly packed, a half a teaspoon of cinnamon, 2 tablespoons of vanilla bean paste and a quarter cup of walnuts.

pour the mixture over 2 cups of frozen peaches and one cup of frozen raspberries.

pour all the contents into a pie crust and place a few pats of butter on top

bake at 350 for about 30 min and you will have a semi healthy indulgence with lots of great ingredients.....put a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a little extra something! cheers!
