At some point in one's life, most have had a degree of teasing and ridicule happen ....some more then others.

After looking back, I have come to realize that aside from liking different things then most children my age, I had a very strong sense of self. I have always been who I am. I was very comfortable and proud of it ... just baffled as to why everyone else didn't get me. Having a strong sense of self, that can be intimidating, Especially during the formative years where most kids are striving to belong and fit it. Most are trying to figure out who they are. They experiment, go through different phases, friends and hobbies. Some grownups still do that. I was just kinda like "umm no...I already know me thank you." Now, I just kinda feel sorry for all those peeps and wish they would have joined me in celebrating each person's specialness. We could have had fun! Nevertheless, I am grateful that I went through what I did. It certainly made me strong and immune to nonsense! All that old negativity..... well it's just used as coal that feeds my creative fire!

I hope anyone else that was teased for who they are, does the same

Were you like this to? let me know. I'd love to hear your story.

Blessings
