There are some new and exciting things happening for A Thousand Words Photography in 2019

and I would like to tell you all about them. I must begin with a very hearty thank you to all my customers new and repeat. There wouldn't be any Thousand Words Photography without you!

1st: I have revamped my site a bit, changed some pricing on certain packages and did some general spring cleaning.

Be sure to check out the 'photo gallery' on the blog page. It can be viewed on a desktop or laptop. If you would like to see more examples of my work, that's the place to go, as I can't fit everything on my mobile site.

2nd: I am offering a beginners photography course. It is 7 sessions

(2 hours a session) for those want to know the basics of utilizing their dslr camera. I take a "meet you where your at" approach. The lesson plan includes:

The basic components of exposure.

The elements of composition.

Utilizing your cameras settings.

lighting and utilizing your flash

and the basics of editing.

What makes this a fun productive program is, it isn't just and in classroom learning experience. First we learn a bit and then do on the field training. As a photographer, I know a lot of great locations and have access to gardens etc. It is a schedule as you go and pay as you go, at $160 a session.

This course is great for young and old alike. I hope you will join me as we explore the endless possibilities in the world of photography together and learn how to express yourself through this wonderful medium.

3rd: Perks for Brides! I have partnered with a great company to provide my Brides with the highest quality digital storage. Now, when I deliver the digital copies of their edited photos, they will be presented on a private digital storage space that is guaranteed forever. From there, the Bride can copy the pictures to their computer, make books, prints or canvas pieces straight from the sight and share the sight to friends and family to view the pictures she wants to share. The good news is, the cost is already embedded into the price of her wedding photography package.

Lastly: Coming this summer! An in home studio for babies, toddlers, children and other portraits sessions like headshots. I am so excited to soon be offering this service. It will allow for a lot more room for creativity !
